Patrick Teugels is a visual artist with portraits that are close to Hyperrealism in the sense of painted as realistically as possible. Teugels’ creates images that at first glance look like conventional portrait photos. On a closer inspection we notice that it is not Photorealism taken from one lens but accurately reassembled images down to the smallest detail. No matter how similar and lifelike, the fascinating thing about these images is that people appear in such a way that neither we nor they will ever got to see them.
